Created by artist Joseph R Wheeler III of THE NEW ART ORDER--ONYXCON is a unique conference/convention that celebrates the presence, contributions, and creators of popular arts from the African Diaspora's perspective. The popular arts include comic books, illustration, children's books, animation/live action film, TV, interactive gaming, and other media with a focus on science fiction, fantasy, horror, action, adventure, and whimsical themes.
