Description
In an effort to continue their dismantling of the myth of the artist, exploiting the lack of aura in works of art, and challenging the value assigned to our favorite consumer and entertainment events, the Art Officials will produce a star-studded première of a feature documentary film with accompanying book. The book and documentary will feature commentary from both emerging and established key players within Atlanta's burgeoning art scene. As a work of art, the documentary will outline the contemporary tone of art and its voice of impact in Atlanta. The theater screening of the film will create an all-inclusive environment, accommodating every echelon of Atlanta's diverse art community. As with many of our events, we like to reserve a few key items for an additional element of surprise. The Art Officials' documentary première will be no exception.
