Next Sunday July 28, join us the 11th annual Idea Capital Fundraising Party with Atlanta's original street artist R. Land in his Inman Park Studio.

Idea Capital’s Steering Committee and artist R. Land team up this summer to celebrate another year of crowd-funding cutting-edge art with a fundraiser dedicated to supporting Atlanta’s creative class.

Viral before viral was a thing, a town crier raising an anarchical alarm about Atlanta’s shriveling soul, artist Ronnie Land has been one of Atlanta’s most distinctive and inventive creative visionaries whose wheat-pasted “Loss Cat” posters, Little Bunny Foo Foo stink-eyed rabbit, culture-jamming “Yuppie Ghetto” signs, wild-eyed critters and praying hands have popped up over the past three decades on Atlanta’s streets with the regularity of chicken bones and tumbleweaves.

With work featured on “Adult Swim” and “The Walking Dead,” Land’s visual lexicon has become as beloved, and as synonymous with Atlanta as the Big Chicken and Coke bottle. This year Idea Capital’s annual fundraiser celebrates one of the city’s most idiosyncratic voices in decrying Atlanta’s kudzu-like sprawl, unchecked gentrification and corporate culture run amok long before the rest of us started talking about smart growth and buying local.

Free Tickets are available with ANY donation to Idea Capital before July 1st. After that tickets for the event are $25 each in support of Idea Capital's 2019 Grant Process. You can always give MORE $$$$$'s if you want .....and you can trust us to put it in the praying hands of talented Atlanta artists.

Join us in celebrating the creative vision and wiseacre legacy of Ronnie Land as well as all of the Idea Capital artists past, present and future who continue to light Atlanta’s way forward in remaining a risk-taking, boundary-pushing place.
