Idea Capital Atlanta Shares 2022 Winners and Upcoming Fundraising Event

Idea Capital Atlanta is thrilled to announce the winners of our 2022 Grant Program, a little late but with no less enthusiasm. Despite being over halfway through 2023, we are excited to finally share the exceptional talents and innovative projects that captured our attention last year. These artists represent the diverse and vibrant creative community that makes Atlanta such a vibrant city.

Each recipient demonstrates Idea Capital’s commitment to the kind of innovative, risk-taking works unlikely to be funded by more traditional revenue streams.

The organization has awarded 11 grants in 2023 totaling $19,213 to support local artists.

Now in its 15th year, Idea Capital remains dedicated to ensuring that Atlanta’s diverse artistic community finds opportunities to produce and exhibit work. In addition to celebrating our 2022 winners, we are eagerly looking ahead to the future of Idea Capital Atlanta.

We invite everyone to mark their calendars for our upcoming fundraising event on August 13, 2023. This much-anticipated party will serve as an opportunity to gather, connect, and most importantly, raise funds to support even more talented artists in 2024.

We are immensely grateful for the continued support from our community, which has enabled us to champion Atlanta's artistic endeavors. We look forward to another successful year of uplifting and empowering local artists through our grants and initiatives. Together, let's create a thriving arts sector that enriches the lives of all Atlantans.

Since its inception, the organization has placed $170,938 directly into the hands of local artists, performers and cultural producers.

This is truly a community-based effort so we must thank the many donors for their support that has led the way to this exciting milestone in our organization. We also encourage everyone committed to the work of Atlanta artists to become “investors” in Idea Capital. Each dollar we receive enables our annual grant awards to continue and grow, allowing us to expand the number of artists that we fund.

We celebrate how far we have come and look forward to all the inspiring ideas yet to come.
